window

I love this piece so much!! The objective was \"windows\" so first i was like i wanna do my research. things i came up with were
black holes - window to another universe
mercury - in the old greek days they used it to look into the future
mirror - it\'s like your looking into a whole new world
window - obviously i\'d think about this
eye - the eye is the brains window to the world (i was taking AP psychology atm to i thought about this stuff)

I started of this piece with a piece of foam board and i took india ink and tried to make a black hole. I thought it came out terrible so i took black construction paper and taped it around the edges to make a window pane. After that i looked at the mirrors in my drawer and i thought \"i know it\'s bad luck...\" so i ended up breaking not one but TWO! i know 14 years of bad luck right? (best year of my life atm) so i put pieces together and made it look like it just shattered. Then i took sharpie and began coloring pieces I think the eye came first i don\'t remember but i remember that silver sharpie would erase the other sharpie on mirror which is how i made it look that way. as for the patterns and the peace sign i kinda just threw them in there.
